Goddess of Beauty is a 14x18" oil on canvas board with gold painted accents. It's is the first of my Rococo collection where I am pulling inspiration from my favorite artists of that time!
Goddess of Beauty was inspired by the painting The Birth of Venus painted in 1753-1755. French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I get lost in so many of his paintings with their romantic subjects and soft soothing colors.
This is not painted on a traditional canvas. It's painted on a canvas board and makes for easy framing. All my paintings are varnished and do not need to be placed behind glass.
