Plentiful Rain is a 36x48" oil painting on a 1.5" gallery canvas with oil painted gold accents. Coming out of a season of life where I felt like there was "plentiful rain" I can now appreciate the buds and blooms the rain brought forth. I'm so inspired by the blessing that life is. And this painting reflects my gratitude for the life I have after the rain.
I use Old Holland oils, along with Windsor, Rembrandt and Gamblin. The majority of colors you see in my work are all mixed, rarely straight from the tube I work using a palette knife and brush, constantly blending and knifing.
