I found this beautiful frame at an antique shop in the NC mountains and had to paint a landscape for it. Frame measures approximately 11x10" and the oil painting measures 8x7"
This frame and painting has a matching one that would make a beautiful set.
I use Old Holland oils, along with Windsor, Rembrandt and Gamblin. The majority of colors you see in my work are all mixed, rarely straight from the tube I work using a palette knife and brush, constantly blending and knifing.
